📌 1. Looks like I’m gonna be~

뜻: ~하게 될 것 같아
사용 상황: 미래에 일어날 일을 말하거나 예측할 때

예문

• Looks like I’m gonna be late for the meeting.
• Looks like I’m gonna be busy this weekend.
• Looks like I’m gonna be the one doing the dishes tonight.

📌 2. I have secured an appointment

뜻: 약속을 잡았어 / 예약 완료했어
사용 상황: 병원, 면접, 상담 등 공식적인 약속을 말할 때

예문

• I have secured an appointment with the dentist next Friday.
• I finally secured an appointment for my visa interview.
• She secured an appointment with the manager at 2 p.m.

뜻: 그 일이 널 늙게 해 (스트레스를 많이 준다는 의미)
사용 상황: 일이 너무 힘들거나 피곤할 때 농담처럼

예문

사용 상황: 계획을 행동으로 옮기자고 말할 때

뜻: 꾸물대지 마!
사용 상황: 급할 때, 상대에게 서두르라고 할 때

예문

뜻: 좀 더 이해하기 쉬울 수도 있어
사용 상황: 설명을 쉽게 바꿔주거나, 이해 돕고 싶을 때

사용 상황: 들은 이야기를 정확하진 않지만 전달할 때

예문

뜻: 나랑 있어야 해 / 나 못 피함
사용 상황: 장난스럽게 “나와 함께 있어야 돼”라는 의미

예문

• No one else came, so you’re stuck with me.

사용 상황: 상대에게 부담 주지 않고 배려할 때

사용 상황: 제안할 때, 대화를 부드럽게 시작할 때

뜻: ~하기 전엔 못 떠나
사용 상황: 어떤 일을 끝내기 전에는 못 간다고 말할 때

뜻: ~에게 전달해 줄 수 있어?
사용 상황: 누군가에게 무언가를 전달해달라고 부탁할 때
